In July of last year at a family get together attended by her parents who we already knew my wife and I met Molly for the first time and by chance discovered that she and my wife had mutual friends and that she was an undertaker.
Later that year when my wife, who we knew had a terminal illness, commenced palliative
care at home, we asked Molly if she would deal with my late wife’s funeral and call on us to discuss how we could best have an appropriate funeral and celebration of her life.
As a result of this visit Molly was able to get to know my wife’s wishes and likes and to
sympathetically and in a most professional manner assist us in creating along with the help of our friends a wonderfully moving and beautiful celebration of her well lived life.
After the ceremony many family and friends have said what a beautiful service it was and that they had felt privileged to attend.
